Un bilancio più che positivo per l’edizione 2014 di Umbria Jazz, come si direbbe: Quarant’anni e non sentirli.
Ed è così perché la musica e la condivisione rendono giovani!
Capita a Perugia di veder ballare un nonno e la nipote, un padre con il figlio di pochi mesi tra le braccia, giovani innamorati:
è questa la magia del Jazz!
I numeri da poco diffusi parlano chiaro: 30 mila paganti per circa 800 mila euro di incasso, tra biglietti e merchandising; 500 artisti coinvolti per un totale di 200 concerti.
Un bilancio da record nonostante il difficile periodo di crisi che tutta l’Europa vive in questi anni.
Oggi però non lasciamo passare i pensieri negativi, oggi solo buone vibrazioni e un regalo.
Qualche immagine di quel che è stato: una Perugia piena di artisti di strada, giocolieri, pittori, turisti da tutto il mondo cullati insieme dalle note del jazz.
Tra l’amore e la musica c’è questa differenza: l’amore non può dare l’idea della musica, la musica può dare l’idea dell’amore.

A positive balance for the 2014 edition of Umbria Jazz, as they say: Forty years and still going strong.
The reason is that music and sharing make people young!
It happens in Perugia to see dancing a grandfather and granddaughter, a father and a son in his arms, young lovers:
this is the magic of Jazz!
The numbers speak for themselves : 30 thousand of paying and about 800 thousand Euros of income, including tickets and merchandising; 500 artists involved a total of 200 concerts.
A record budget despite the difficult period of crisis that the whole of Europe lives in these years.
Today, however, we do not let go to negative thoughts, only good vibes today and a gift.

Between love and music, there is this difference: love can not give up the idea of the music, the music can give an idea of love.
